Window Fashions & Interiors, based in Terenure, South Dublin, was proud to deliver the complete bespoke soft furnishings package for the prestigious Townhouse on the Green, one of Dublin’s finest luxury boutique hotels. Led by David Mulligan, our experienced team worked alongside Noonan Moran Architects from the earliest stages of the refurbishment, providing bespoke curtains, custom carpets, upholstered headboards and luxury upholstery throughout the property.
Situated at 22 St Stephen’s Green, the building was formerly the Cliff House Hotel before being acquired by the Fitzwilliam Hotel Group in 2022. The vision was to transform the historic Georgian townhouse into an intimate nine-bedroom luxury hotel that combines heritage architecture with modern hospitality.

Design Vision & Concept
The restoration of Townhouse on the Green was driven by a simple yet ambitious vision: preserve the elegance of one of Dublin’s finest Georgian townhouses while introducing the comfort and sophistication expected from a world-class boutique hotel.
Working closely with Noonan Moran Architects, every design decision respected the building’s original character. Historic features including the grand entrance hall, Portland stone staircase, decorative plasterwork, wrought-iron balustrades and original mahogany handrails were carefully restored and celebrated rather than concealed.
The interiors combine traditional craftsmanship with contemporary luxury. Rich natural materials, elegant panelling, modern lighting and beautifully designed furnishings create interiors that feel timeless rather than fashionable. The result is a hotel that delivers quiet luxury through quality materials, proportion and exceptional craftsmanship.
